                                       Is Lying Really Bad?

Everyone has different opinions of whether or not lying is necessary depending on the situation or not needed at all no matter the situation. Me personally I try my hardest not to lie to anyone at any given moment because I don’t find it necessary to give false information to someone. For as long as I can remember I’ve been told that I could be too honest for my own good and that I may lose friends over it. On the other hand, I do understand lying depending on the situations. Sometimes it may be easier to lie to someone to spare their feelings for the moment. For example, if one of your closest friends are venting to you about something drastic that is going on in their life and then they ask you how you are doing and you reply I’m fine even if you're not. I believe it’s okay to lie in that instance simply because your friends need you and you would come off as insensitive if you just dumped all your problems on them without fully helping them first. A motto I follow by is “what is done in the dark will come to the light”. Which basically means no matter how well you cover your secrets or how elaborate your lies are, they will always come out and the truth will be told. As a result, the person or group of people you have lied too will now see you as unreliable, untrustworthy and it may destroy the relationship you have.

Who Am I? I am Jazzlyn! The Mario Master

1. Currently, I do not play a sport but when I was a child I was considered a "TomBoy" because I played all the tough sports with my guy cousins such as football, basketball, soccer, dodgeball, the sky was the limit for me.

2. I am passionate about my family and keeping them happy is my top priority. In my free time with my friends, I usually listen to some music, play video games ( Mario games are my favorite ) or just have a random discussion with them about anything that comes to our heads. In my free time by myself, you could always catch me reading some mystery novel or watching Youtube videos.

3.  I don't really have a ridiculous lie I have ever told. I rarely lie because I feel as though it's not needed to lie to anyone.  On the other hand, a ridiculous lie that was ever told to me is that I have a twin sister name Jazzlyn and she lives in New York with my Aunt Sally. I'm 98% certain that I don't.

4. Writing comes more natural to me when I have a set topic and a brief outcome and then in each paragraph I can just let all of my million of ideas flow.

5. My writing experience has been very informational from the constructive criticism I receive each time. From this course, I would like to learn how to elaborate more on my details and learn how to properly support them.

7. I scroll on Facebook about every day just stay up to date with what's going on because I hate watching the news. Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram I barely use.

8. The most important thing for me to learn this semester would be how to cite my sources properly.

9. My definition of a hero is someone who does what is right even when no one is looking and they will get no credit for it. But they still continue to do it each time with no hesitation.

10. The last time I failed at something that I consider huge was in high school when I had to present a poem by Hamlet and I went up there and completely forgot everything and was asked to sit back down. Very embarrassing moment for me.
